1. Who is responsible

Autovio Ltd is the controller for data about the users of Autovio Dealer and about dealers as customers (account, billing, support). For data that dealers enter about their own customers, vehicles and agreements, the dealer is the controller and Autovio is the processor – see the data processing agreement.

2. What we process and why

Account and users: name, email, role, log-ins – to provide the service (contract, UK GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Billing: business details and payment status. Card details are handled only by Stripe – to take payment and keep accounting records (art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
Security and logs: IP address, time and device at log-in and signing – to secure the service and evidence signatures (legitimate interests, art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Sub-processors

Fly.io (hosting and storage, London data centre, UK), Stripe (payments), one.com (email), Criipto/Idura (BankID), DVLA/DVSA and Statens vegvesen (vehicle look-ups), Brønnøysundregistrene (company look-ups). Transfers to the USA rely on the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

4. Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active and deleted 90 days after the relationship ends. Records of our own billing are kept as long as tax law requires. Backups are deleted after 60 days.

5. Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact post@autovio.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in Norway, to Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).

6. Customers of dealers

If you are a customer of a dealer that uses Autovio Dealer, the dealer decides how your information is used. Contact the dealer for access or deletion. When you sign, your name, the time, IP address and device (and, with BankID, your verified name and date of birth) are stored as evidence of the signature.
